2019 MY FLEET PREVIEW AUTOMOTIVE FLEET I AUGUST 2018 22 M ore than 800 commercial government and daily rental fleet customers landed in Nashville Tenn for General Motors Fleets Solutions Summit to preview the fleet offerings that GM will have for the 2019 MY The GM Fleets Solution Summit is held every year and gives the OEMs fleet customers a look at whats to come in the following year Theyre not only given the opportunity to see the new offerings however Fleet customers are also given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some of the vehicles to get immersed in the new products technology and services GM executives such as Mary Barra chairman and CEO of GM Ed Peper U S VP GM Fleet and Brian Sweeney U S VP of Chevrolet presented remarks to the fleet representatives in attendance After the presentations attendees were shown demonstrations that focused on safety connectivity advanced technology such as super cruise and electrification GM vendor partners both internal partners such as GM Customer Care and Aftersales and external such as telematics companies were also in attendance GENERAL MOTORS Ed Peper and GMs fleet team let customers know that Your Success Is Our Success General Motors Fleet Solution Summit is held every year to give customers an opportunity to preview the vehicles to come Commercial government and daily rental fleet customers converged in Nashville for GM Fleets Solution Summit BY ERIC GANDARILLA AND PAUL CLINTON Ed Peper VP of GM Fleet spoke to attendees and brought out the new Chevrolet Silverado 6500HD Chassis Cab onstage Mary Barra chairman and CEO spoke and showed the Cruise AV which GM is developing for a commercial autonomous mobility service The goal is to have this vehicle on the road in 2019 it will have no steering wheel
